Getting back on board our river Nile cruise dahabiya we find ourselves sailing towards Kom Ombo, a city located on the east bank of the Nile river where we get to visit the famous temple of Kom Ombo.

Kom Ombo temple: The temple is known as the double temple, its constructed completely symmetrical standing promontory at a bend in the Nile, the double temple is made to worship two gods, Horus the falcon god, and Sobek the crocodile god. It’s also well known for the art painted on its walls. The Kom Ombo temple is one of the well-preserved temples in Egypt. Getting back to our peaceful night onboard while docking at El Herdiab island.
