Dahabiya Nile Cruise Prices: Costs, Routes & Options

turquoise-dahabiya-boat-nile-cruise

A Dahabiya journey is not quite the same purchase as booking a room on a large Nile cruise ship. You are choosing a smaller sailing experience, a particular route, a cabin category, a length of journey, and—in some cases—a much broader Egypt itinerary.

That is why Dahabiya Nile cruise prices can look surprisingly different when you compare one trip with another.

A short Nile sailing and an extended journey toward Cairo are clearly not the same product. Nor is a shared cabin necessarily comparable with private arrangements or a longer itinerary that combines sailing with additional travel experiences.

At Turquoise Dahabiya, our current collection itself demonstrates how varied a Dahabiya journey can be. Available itineraries represented in the supplied tour material include 4 days from Aswan toward Luxor, 5 days from Luxor toward Aswan, 7 days through Luxor, Qena and Aswan, 11 days from Luxor toward Cairo, and a 14-day Aswan–Cairo itinerary.

So rather than asking only, “How much is a Dahabiya?”, it is much more useful to ask:

What type of Dahabiya journey am I pricing?

This guide explains how to compare Dahabiya Nile cruise costs, what can affect the final rate, how short and extended routes differ, and what you should check before requesting a quote.

Dahabiya Nile Cruise Prices Costs Routes

How Much Does a Dahabiya Nile Cruise Cost?

There is no single universal Dahabiya Nile cruise price per person.

The research material supplied for this page contains examples of third-party advertised rates ranging from approximately $920–$1,050 per person for some shorter itineraries, around $1,160–$1,400 per person for some five-day products, and approximately $1,899–$2,260 or more for certain luxury five-day options. Some premium or private products in the supplied research are advertised at more than $2,800 per person.

These figures are useful as general market examples only.

They are not confirmed Turquoise Dahabiya rates, and they should not be treated as a quotation for one of our cruises.

The attached Turquoise tour material does not provide a current public price table from which we can responsibly state exact rates for every sailing. For an accurate price, the sensible approach is therefore to request the available details for your preferred itinerary, dates and travel party.

That distinction matters. Comparing a random online headline rate with a tailored Dahabiya journey without checking what is included can be a little like comparing airline tickets without checking whether one is economy and the other business class.

The number alone tells only part of the story.

Excellent Trip On this second visit to Egypt, we traveled on this boat on the Nile from Luxor to Aswan. It was a small and fine boat with room for about 20 people. Downstairs were the luxurious rooms with windows and upstairs was an open area with a dining table, benches, loungers and a pool. The crew and owner were very friendly, the food was excellent and on three of the five evenings we were invited to dance, which created a great sense of community.A trip with this ship and the crew is definitely recommended.

Wonderful days and nights on the Nile We are completely satisfied! The food has excellent high quality. The service Team is polite, openminded, helpful, charming, loving. They enlightened us with live drumming, chanting and dancing during three evenings, which created an athmosphere of inclusion for all guests who wanted to join. The ship is light, spacious, clean, offering occasions to sit together, talk, play or laying on the sofa shady or sunny.Claudia & Christian

Great and Relaxing Trip Up the Nile The Turquoise is a very charming Dahabiya. The rooms are clean and white-modern, with comfortable big beds in the suites and twins in the cabins. It probably would have been nice to have some cabins with double/queen beds. The pillows were way too thick and need most of the stuffing to be taken out, or ideally a many new pillows with varying thickness and firmness. There should probably have been a small sofa or love seat in the suites. The rooms all have very big windows, which makes for excellent views of the Nile. The salon / indoor living room should have a projector on one wall for movie nights. The crew was helpful and accommodating. They removed the tarpaulin covers over the pool at my request, in hopes that the sun would heat the pool, however above that tarp was a big solar panel, and so the sun never even shone in the pool. Mohammed (the owner) even got us two kayaks to use, which was absolutely fantastic and personal service, and really a great way to relax. The pool was freezing cold in the winter, and ideally should have some kind of heating system for high season, as even after a long day of sightseeing, it was too cold to be enjoyable. Perhaps a small heating element could be placed in the pool during the day when we go on tour, and then when we come back in late afternoon the water would be warm. The food was good, although maybe the breakfast was a bit lacking in different selections. Most of our group wanted a proper coffee maker, not just instant coffee. Alcohol was a bit difficult and expensive to come by, but eventually a member of the crew helped us to find some at expensive rates. The sights were amazing and our guide, Dr. Mo, was incredibly knowledgeable and personable. However, we were almost tired of seeing temples by the end of the trip; it might be a good idea to have a rest day in the middle of the trip to lay on deck, read, kayak, watch movies, etc. Overall, a great experience, very peaceful and enjoyable, and highly recommended.

Dahabiya Nile cruise price per person comparison

Dahabiya Nile Cruise Price Comparison

The most useful way to begin comparing Dahabiya Nile cruise rates is by understanding the different trip lengths and routes available.

The supplied Turquoise Dahabiya pages identify the following journey types:

JourneyRoute shown in the supplied tour materialPricing approach
4-day DahabiyaAswan toward LuxorRequest current details
5-day DahabiyaLuxor toward AswanRequest current details
7-day DahabiyaLuxor – Qena – AswanRequest current details
11-day DahabiyaLuxor toward CairoRequest current details
14-day journeyAswan toward CairoRequest current details

These routes are documented in the supplied Turquoise tour navigation.

This makes one point immediately clear: a search for the cheapest Dahabiya Nile cruise does not necessarily lead to a meaningful comparison.

First compare the itinerary.

Then compare what the journey includes.

Then compare the price.

Dahabiya Nile cruise routes and trip lengths comparison

What Affects Dahabiya Nile Cruise Prices?

A number of variables appear repeatedly in the pricing questions travelers ask when comparing cruises. The supplied keyword and FAQ research specifically highlights occupancy, cabin type, season, route, private versus shared arrangements, meals, excursions, transfers, entrance fees and extended packages as important pricing considerations.

Cruise Length

The difference between a shorter sailing and an 11- or 14-day itinerary is substantial.

Turquoise Dahabiya’s supplied material includes journeys extending from a four-day Aswan–Luxor option all the way to an 11-day Luxor–Cairo journey and a 14-day itinerary associated with Aswan and Cairo.

Naturally, you should not compare those journeys simply by looking at the total figure.

A longer itinerary may involve considerably more travel than a short sailing, while a short trip may be the better fit if the cruise is only one part of a wider Egypt holiday.

Route

Travelers frequently search separately for:

Dahabiya cruise Luxor to Aswan price

and

Dahabiya cruise Aswan to Luxor price

because the starting point matters when planning the rest of an Egypt itinerary.

Turquoise offers source-confirmed routes in both directions within its collection: the supplied pages identify a four-day Aswan–Luxor journey and a five-day Luxor–Aswan journey.

Longer journeys also move beyond the traditional short Luxor–Aswan corridor.

Cabin Occupancy

One of the most important questions is whether a displayed price is:

per person sharing a double cabin,
per single traveler,
per cabin, or
for an entire private charter.

The pricing research supplied with this project notes that advertised Dahabiya rates are often shown per person based on double occupancy unless a provider specifically labels the amount as per cabin or private charter.

This is why two apparently similar offers can look wildly different.

Always check the pricing basis before comparing them.

Dahabiya Nile cruise cabin occupancy pricing

Dahabiya Double Cabin vs Single Cabin Prices

Solo travelers should pay particular attention to occupancy rules.

The research supplied for this page includes an example where a listed four-day single-cabin itinerary ranged from approximately $2,502 in low season to $2,780 in high season. This is a third-party example included in the brief rather than a Turquoise Dahabiya quotation.

It demonstrates why searching only for a general Dahabiya Nile cruise price per person can be misleading.

If you are traveling alone, ask specifically for a single-occupancy rate.

If you are traveling as a couple, ask whether the quotation is calculated per traveler sharing a cabin.

For families and groups, ask for a quotation based on the actual number of adults and children rather than multiplying an online headline price.

Luxury Dahabiya Nile Cruise Prices

The phrase luxury Dahabiya Nile cruise prices covers a particularly wide spectrum.

“Luxury” by itself does not tell you:

  • how long the trip lasts;
  • which route it follows;
  • which cabin category applies;
  • whether arrangements are shared or private;
  • which excursions are part of the program;
  • or what additional travel services form part of the itinerary.

The supplied market research illustrates this variation. Some advertised five-day journeys appear in a roughly $1,160–$1,400 per-person range, while other luxury five-day examples reach approximately $1,899–$2,260 per person or more.

That gap is precisely why we recommend comparing the complete journey rather than judging value from the first number that appears in search results.

4-Day Dahabiya Nile Cruise Price

Travelers looking for a shorter Nile experience may begin with a four-day itinerary.

Turquoise Dahabiya has a source-confirmed 4-day Aswan–Luxor option.

The page itself identifies the journey as a “4 day Dahabiya Nile Cruise Aswan to Esna”, while the wider Turquoise navigation presents it as the four-day Aswan–Luxor route. The supplied metadata describes the journey in terms of guided touring and sailing between the Luxor and Aswan region. For more detail on this specific trip, see our guide to the 4-day Dahabiya Nile Cruise Aswan to Esna.

No confirmed current Turquoise price for this journey was supplied in the source material used for this page.

For that reason, we recommend requesting a quotation rather than publishing an assumed 3-night Dahabiya Nile cruise price.

4-day Dahabiya Nile cruise price Aswan to Luxor

5-Day Dahabiya Nile Cruise Price

The Turquoise collection also includes a 5-day Luxor–Aswan journey.

The individual tour page identifies it as a “5 Day Nile Cruise on a Luxury Dahabiya (Esna to Aswan)”. You can read more about this itinerary on the 5-day Nile Cruise Dahabiya page.

Again, the supplied source does not provide a confirmed current Turquoise price.

Third-party examples in the research brief show why it would be risky to manufacture one: advertised five-day products in the supplied comparison material span quite different price levels.

Your actual quotation therefore needs to be matched to the specific journey rather than inferred from a general internet average.

7-Day Dahabiya Nile Cruise Price

For travelers looking for a longer Nile journey, Turquoise’s supplied tour collection includes a 7-day Luxor–Qena–Aswan route.

The individual tour page describes this as a private seven-day Dahabiya Nile cruise and positions the journey around Luxor and Aswan. Full itinerary details are available on the 7-day Dahabiya Nile Cruise page.

Because no verified current 7-day Dahabiya Nile cruise price appears in the supplied tour material, we do not want to insert a made-up number simply to fill a pricing table.

Instead, request the available details for your dates and party size.

That produces a far more useful comparison than an unsupported “from” price.

Longer Dahabiya Journeys: Luxor to Cairo and Aswan to Cairo

A Dahabiya itinerary does not necessarily stop at the familiar short Luxor–Aswan format.

Turquoise’s supplied collection includes an 11-day Luxor–Cairo journey.

The individual page describes it as an 11-day Dahabiya Nile cruise from Luxor to Cairo. Explore the details on the 11-day Dahabiya Nile Cruise Luxor to Cairo page.

There is also a 14-day Cairo and Dahabiya Nile Cruise in the supplied material. Its page identifies a 14-day/13-night journey, while the Turquoise tour navigation lists the itinerary as Aswan–Cairo. See the 14-day Cairo and Dahabiya Nile Cruise for the full itinerary.

The itinerary begins in Aswan in the supplied source, including an arrival, Philae and the Aswan High Dam before joining the Dahabiya and sailing onward toward Kom Ombo.

These journeys illustrate why a single “average Dahabiya cost” can only tell you so much. Extended programs belong in a different comparison from a straightforward short Nile sailing.

Longer Dahabiya Nile cruise Luxor to Cairo and Aswan to Cairo

What Is Included in a Dahabiya Nile Cruise Price?

This is one of the most important questions to ask before you book.

Do not assume that every advertised all-inclusive Dahabiya Nile cruise price means exactly the same thing.

The research brief specifically identifies travelers as wanting to know whether the advertised rate covers meals, sightseeing, Egyptologist-guided visits, transfers, entrance fees, hotels, domestic flights and tips.

Those questions should be answered against the individual itinerary and quotation.

For Turquoise Dahabiya, we recommend checking your selected journey carefully rather than transferring inclusions from one tour to another.

In other words, if a service is not stated in your itinerary or quotation, do not assume it is included.

That gives you a much cleaner understanding of the real Dahabiya Nile cruise package cost.

Are Meals Included?

Meal arrangements can materially affect the value of a cruise package, which is why Dahabiya cruise with meals price appears among the key commercial searches included in the brief.

However, inclusions should be checked against the specific Turquoise itinerary being requested.

We do not recommend assuming that an inclusion shown for one journey automatically applies to every Dahabiya itinerary.

Ask us for the available details for the exact cruise you are considering.

Are Excursions and Entrance Fees Included?

This deserves particular attention because sightseeing is a major part of many Nile itineraries.

For example, the supplied 14-day itinerary specifically describes visits in Aswan to Philae Temple and the High Dam before joining the Dahabiya, followed by travel toward Kom Ombo and a temple visit.

But an itinerary mentioning a visit does not automatically tell us everything about the commercial conditions surrounding entrance tickets, guides or other costs.

Unless your specific quotation confirms them, these details should be checked rather than assumed.

Dahabiya Nile cruise price inclusions meals excursions

Private Dahabiya Nile Cruise Prices

A private journey requires a slightly different way of thinking about price.

Instead of asking only for the Dahabiya Nile cruise price per person, it can be useful to ask how the quotation changes according to the number of people traveling.

The research brief itself notes that private charter pricing can vary by group size and that some premium private products elsewhere in the market are advertised above $2,800 per person.

Again, this is market context—not a Turquoise charter quote.

For an accurate private Dahabiya Nile cruise price, send us your intended dates, number of travelers and preferred journey so the available arrangements can be discussed.

Summer, Winter, High-Season and Low-Season Dahabiya Prices

Seasonality is another reason you may find different rates for what looks like the same journey.

The supplied SEO research specifically identifies searches for:

Dahabiya Nile cruise summer prices, winter prices, high-season prices, and low-season prices as separate traveler concerns.

However, the supplied Turquoise tour pages do not provide enough verified seasonal rate data for us to name a “cheapest month” or publish a winter-versus-summer percentage difference.

So we will not invent one.

If your dates are flexible, mention that when you enquire. We can then provide the available information relevant to your travel period.

Dahabiya Nile Cruise 2026 and 2027 Prices

Travelers planning well ahead often search specifically for Dahabiya Nile cruise 2026 prices or Dahabiya Nile cruise 2027 prices. Those terms are included in the research brief.

The key point is simple: prices shown for another season or another operator should not be assumed to apply to your future sailing.

For future travel, request the current available information for your intended year and dates.

This is especially important if you are comparing longer itineraries, private arrangements or special journeys.

How to Compare Dahabiya Nile Cruise Prices Properly

When comparing quotations, use one consistent checklist rather than simply choosing the lowest headline number.

1. Compare the same duration and route. A four-day Aswan–Luxor trip should not be judged against an 11-day Luxor–Cairo journey as though they were equivalent.

2. Check the pricing basis. Confirm whether the rate is per person sharing, single occupancy, per cabin or a private arrangement.

3. Review the actual itinerary. Look at where the journey begins and ends and which destinations are part of it.

4. Confirm inclusions individually. Ask about accommodation, meals, sightseeing, transfers, entrance tickets and any other service important to you.

5. Check the travel period. Make sure the quotation applies to the dates or season you are considering.

6. Ask about booking conditions. Cancellation conditions and other commercial terms should come from the actual offer rather than assumptions based on another cruise.

This is the easiest way to identify a best-value Dahabiya Nile cruise for your circumstances without confusing “cheapest” with “most suitable.”

Frequently Asked Questions About Dahabiya Nile Cruise Prices

How much does a Dahabiya Nile cruise cost?

There is no single confirmed price covering every Dahabiya itinerary. The research supplied for this page contains third-party examples ranging from roughly $920–$1,050 per person for some shorter products to considerably higher rates for some luxury or private journeys. These are market examples, not Turquoise Dahabiya quotations.

What is the average Dahabiya Nile cruise price per person?

The source material does not provide enough standardized data to establish a reliable market-wide average. Cruise length, occupancy, route and product type vary too much for one figure to describe every journey accurately.

Are Dahabiya Nile cruises priced per person or per cabin?

The research included in the brief states that rates are often advertised per person based on double occupancy unless the offer specifically says per cabin or private charter. Always check the basis of the individual quotation.

How much is a 3-night Dahabiya cruise from Aswan to Luxor?

Turquoise’s collection includes a four-day Aswan–Luxor journey, but no confirmed current price for it was provided in the supplied source. Please request the current available details.

How much is a 4-night Dahabiya cruise from Luxor to Aswan?

Turquoise offers a five-day Luxor–Aswan itinerary in the supplied tour collection, but its confirmed current price was not included in the source material.

Is a private Dahabiya more expensive than a shared cruise?

The supplied research indicates that private charter prices vary according to group size, but it does not provide enough directly comparable Turquoise pricing to calculate a reliable difference.

Are meals included in the Dahabiya cruise price?

This should be confirmed against the specific itinerary or quotation. We do not assume an inclusion unless it is stated for the selected journey.

Are sightseeing tours and Egyptologist guides included?

Check the specific offer. The supplied itinerary material describes sightseeing within particular journeys, but commercial inclusions should be confirmed in the quotation rather than inferred.

Are hotel transfers included?

Only rely on transfers that are specifically confirmed for your selected package.

Are entrance fees included?

Check the individual quotation. The supplied material does not support a blanket statement covering every Turquoise itinerary.

What is the cheapest month for a Dahabiya Nile cruise?

The provided source does not contain sufficient verified monthly pricing data to name a cheapest month.

Are winter Dahabiya prices higher?

Season is a relevant pricing search category in the supplied research, but the attached Turquoise information does not provide a confirmed seasonal rate table from which we can state how much prices change.

Do children receive discounted prices?

No verified child-discount structure is supplied in the attached information, so this should be checked when requesting your quotation.

Are Luxor–Aswan cruises cheaper than Aswan–Luxor cruises?

The source confirms that Turquoise offers journeys in both directions, but it does not provide comparable current prices that would support saying one direction is consistently cheaper.

How much does a private Dahabiya charter cost?

Private arrangements depend on the specific journey and travel party. Request the available details based on your dates and number of passengers rather than relying on an unrelated online charter price.

Are tips included?

The supplied source does not confirm a general policy for every itinerary. Check your individual quotation.

Are domestic flights and Cairo hotels included?

Do not assume so unless they are explicitly stated in the particular package you are considering.

Can I find Dahabiya Nile cruise deals or last-minute discounts?

The research identifies deals, offers and discounts as common searches, but no confirmed current Turquoise promotion was supplied. We therefore do not advertise an unsupported discount here.

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellation terms should be confirmed from the conditions attached to your actual booking. No universal cancellation terms were supplied for this page.

How far in advance should I book?

The source does not provide a verified minimum booking period. If you already know your preferred dates, sending an enquiry allows the team to provide the relevant available information.

Do Dahabiya cruises operate throughout the year?

The supplied material does not establish a universal operating calendar for every journey, so availability should be checked for your dates.

Find the Right Dahabiya Nile Cruise for Your Trip

The smartest way to compare Dahabiya Nile cruise prices is not to start with the cheapest number.

Start with the journey.

Do you want a shorter Aswan–Luxor sailing? A five-day Luxor–Aswan itinerary? A seven-day route through Luxor, Qena and Aswan? Or a much longer Nile journey toward Cairo?

Turquoise Dahabiya‘s supplied collection gives you several distinct itinerary lengths to consider rather than one standard cruise format.

Once you know which journey fits your plans, we can help you understand the available details for that specific option.

Fill out the enquiry form with your preferred dates, number of travelers and the Dahabiya itinerary that interests you. Our Turquoise Dahabiya team can then provide the available information, clarify the journey details and discuss the cruise with you before you make your decision. You can also read more of our Egypt Nile cruise tips or browse the Egypt travel blog for further inspiration.
