Day 3 — The West Bank: Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut, then South to Esna
You cross to Luxor’s West Bank, and this is the day the history gets personal. The Valley of the Kings holds the hidden tombs of Egypt’s greatest pharaohs — painted chambers cut deep into the rock. Close by, Hatshepsut’s Temple rises out of the cliffs in clean terraces, a monument to a woman who ruled as king.
Late afternoon, the sails go up again and we head south toward Esna, mooring there for the night.
Day 4 — Esna Lock, El Kab, and a Night at Imam Island

We sail on to El Kab, where ancient tombs are carved directly into the cliff face and the story of Nekhbet, the vulture goddess, is written on the walls. Night falls at Imam Island — remote, silent, and about as good as stargazing gets.
Day 5 — Edfu Temple and Bassao Island

Day 7 — Aswan and Philae Temple
